The Special Collections Research Center is on the north side of King Library, the side facing Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library. See a campus map for more details.

Parking

We recommend the South Limestone Garage (PS#5) on the corner of Limestone and Avenue of Champions or the Bill Gatton Student Center Lot located off Avenue of Champions. Metered spaces are also available in various locations across campus. Parking with an ADA permit can also be found at several locations on campus. Visitor parking rates are generally $2 per hour in lots or garages or by 15-min increments at parking meters. Due to campus construction, events, and athletics, parking for personal vehicles can be extremely limited. More information and parking alerts can be found on the University of Kentucky Parking and Transportation Services website or by calling their office at (859-257-7433).

Lodging

The University of Kentucky does not own or operate a hotel or other lodging accommodations.  Please utilize your favorite travel app to locate accommodations near campus.  The Visit Lex website also provides a listing of nearby hotels.
